Jack Reynolds has been a creative writer for decades, only recently creating a series of novels centered around a heroine. He enjoys sharing a strong, female character with the world and thinks there is always room for more. He came up with the idea of Shay Lark after watching one too many adventure style movies and not seeing enough capable women in these roles.

He enjoys alternate history novels (especially Harry Turtledove’s writings) and historical documentaries on streaming media. When not reading, writing, or watching TV, he enjoys watching his daughters grow into awesome young women and spending time with his wife of twenty years.

He currently resides in Texas with his wife, daughters, and the family pets.
